Richmond County's Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Event will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 9am-2pm. This event is open to Richmond County residents and will take place at the Rappahannock Community College parking lot at 52 Campus Dr, Warsaw.  Richmond County Residents should bring their convenience center pass.  

Examples of the waste to be collected at this event includes old household chemicals such as oil-based paint, cleaners, solvents, old or used petroleum products (including mower and boat gas), pool chemicals, pesticides and spent florescent and CFL bulbs. Do not bring ammunition, radioactive materials, tires, car batteries or medical waste as these items will not be collected. 

This event will also include a Drug Take Back event sponsored by the Sheriff's Office.  

This event will also include secure paper shredding.
